Dr. Yasser Javed is Manager Monitoring and Evaluation at RASTA – Competitive Grants Programme for Policy-Oriented Research, under the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Director, Data Management and Analysis at the Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability – Free and Fair Election Network (TDEA-FAFEN) from July 2008 to September 2025.
He has also taught undergraduate courses at Air University and the International Islamic University, Islamabad. His professional expertise encompasses assessment and evaluation of electoral processes, data analytics, knowledge management, and monitoring and evaluation across all phases of the project cycle. His research interests lie in political economy, governance, growth and development economics.
