Nazam Maqbool is a Social Scientist currently serving as the Social Scientist/Manager at the RASTA Competitive Grants Program, an initiative of the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) and the Planning Commission of Pakistan since January 2021. With over a decade of experience of research, he has developed a profound understanding of the intricate relationship between sustainability and economic development, with a particular focus on Water Resource Management. Prior to his current role, he served as a Senior Research Fellow at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, Mahbub ul Haq Research Centre (July 2016 – September 2020), and also worked for the Mahbub ul Haq Human Development Centre (March 2007 – June 2016).
