His area of specialization is trade, poverty, governance, design, policy and social protection. He has done his PhD in Economics. In past, he was heading the research wing of Pakistan’s largest social protection program, the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) as the Additional Director General. He has led the design and implementation of macroeconomic models, graduation models, socioeconomic surveys, and data quality assurance, analysis, and reporting of the social protection programs.
