Izza Aftab is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Beaconhouse National University (BNU) Lahore. She was the founding Chairperson of the Economics Department at ITU Lahore. She was also the Director of the SDG Tech Lab at ITU, set up in collaboration with the UNDP and UNFPA, and the Program Director of Safer Society for Children. Her research interests include firm level innovation, economics of innovation, SDG, CPEC, BRI, structural macroeconomics and child protection.
